Shamanic Healing
& Energy Work.

A space to release, realign and remember who you are.

This page is a little different from the rest of our site — because this work is different. It's one-to-one, it's held at our home near Dunkeld, and it's mine. So it's written the way I'd say it to you across the kitchen table. — Mark

What Is Shamanic Healing?

Work at the level beneath talking.

Shamanic healing is an ancient practice found in cultures across the world. It recognises that many challenges — emotional blocks, anxiety, lack of clarity, loss of direction — are not purely mental problems, but energetic ones.

Rather than fixing or forcing change, this work creates the conditions for your system to restore balance. It addresses the energetic, emotional and spiritual layers that shape how we think, feel and act.

Each Session Is Unique, But May Include

Shamanic journeying
Energy healing
Sound healing — drums, rattles, bowls, voice
Breathwork
Ceremony and intention setting
Gentle guidance and reflection

You don't need to believe anything in particular. You simply need to arrive open and curious.

What People Come With

This work is for people who feel stuck — even if, on the surface, life looks "fine."

Feeling stuck or looping in the same patterns
Anxiety, stress or emotional heaviness
Loss of purpose or direction
Burnout or nervous system overload
Major life transitions
A sense that something is "off" but hard to name

Often, what emerges is clarity, relief, grounding and a renewed sense of inner trust.

How I Work

Grounded. Practical. Respectful.

I draw on formal shamanic training (including Upper, Middle and Lower World work), sound healing (Level 1 & 2), breathwork and nervous system regulation, and ceremony and energetic practices.

Sessions are held in a safe, contained and confidential space at Torus Tree, Upper Hatton, near Dunkeld.

I don't diagnose, fix or impose meaning. I listen deeply, work with the energy present, and support what wants to shift.

What a 1-to-1 Session Looks Like

Around 90 minutes, in three parts.

1

A short check-in and intention setting

We talk about what's bringing you here and what you'd like from the session.

2

The healing journey itself

You lie down, fully clothed, while I work — with sound, energy and ceremony as the session calls for.

3

Time to gently ground and reflect

Space to land, make sense of what moved, and leave steady.

Many people describe the experience as deeply calming, insightful or releasing.

Questions

Things people ask.

Do I need to believe in anything for this to work?

+

No. People come to this work from every background — including plenty of healthy scepticism. You don't need to believe anything in particular; arrive open and curious and let the experience speak for itself.

How is this different from your breathwork sessions?

+

The group 9D Breathwork journeys are breath-led and guided through headphones. A shamanic healing session is one-to-one, quieter, and shaped entirely around you — drawing on journeying, sound, energy work and ceremony as the session calls for. Breath may feature, but it isn't the vehicle. Many people do both; they reach different places.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Comfortable clothing — you remain fully clothed throughout. Everything else is provided. Come as you are.

I'm not sure if this is right for me.

+

Then message me — genuinely. A brief description of what's bringing you here is enough, and I'll give you an honest answer about whether this work fits, or whether something else (a breathwork session, or another kind of support entirely) would serve you better.
